    The BenchMixer™ V2 utilizes a smooth and powerful mixing technology similar to the original BenchMixer, with the advantage of a uniquely designed reversible rubber head that can be attached to the mixer in two orientations. For the vortexing of single tubes, the cupped surface would generally be preferred. However, for applications requiring a flat/dimpled surface for mixing uniquely shaped vessels (or a handful of multiple test-tubes), the head can easily be flipped over and reattached in reverse orientation.


    Like the original BenchMixer, the drive system is balanced with Q-Drive™ technology, providing a smooth vortexing action, while minimizing noise and excessive vibration. This results in quieter, more efficient and longer lasting operation.     Benchmark™s new IsoBlock dry bath is ideal for incubation of samples
    at two different temperatures, in a single compact unit. The two chambers are separated by an insulated wall and are controlled independently, allowing IsoBlock to serve as two dry baths in one. The hinged (and removable) lid is also designed with a dividing wall. When closed, this dividing wall acts as a barrier, preventing air transfer
    between chambers.


    The control panel features large digital displays of both time and temperature. Both settings of a block can be adjusted at any point, without affecting the settings of the other block. The timer function is non-mandatory; IsoBlock can be used for continuous heating.

    The Z287-A exceeds the limitations set forth by traditional microcentrifuges which are restricted solely to fixed angle rotors for microtubes. Instead, this compact, next generation model features an expansive line of swing out and fixed angle rotors options that accept microplates and test-tubes up to 50ml. We’ve designed this centrifuge to be our most compact and economical. A true workhorse for any lab requiring a centrifuge that can accommodate many fields of research.

    Along with a broad range of available rotor options, the Z287-A introduces a convenient status indicator. Users can easily view the current state of the centrifuge from across the room.
